The Analyst is responsible for the effective management, disposition and underwriting of real estate assets. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of commercial real estate investment strategies in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the preparation of asset-level recommendations for senior management
- Prepare strategic plans for assigned properties and contribute to overall portfolio plans
- Build and maintain property valuation models using Excel and ARGUS
- Produce asset-level reporting on a periodic basis
- Assist in the engagement and direction of third-party property managers in development and implementation of operating budgets including capital and leasing plans
- Prepare regular update reports on asset performance for senior management
- Assist in the underwriting and due diligence of new CRE investment opportunities
- Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong modeling skills (Excel and Argus)
- High attention to detail and accountability in analytical assessments

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required
- Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related area preferred
- 1-2 years of direct commercial real estate industry experience and/or finance experience is preferred but not required
- Prior experience with Argus a plus
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Intermediate Excel knowledge, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, etc.
- This job operates in a professional office environment
- This position’s hours vary depending on business activity
- This position does not require frequent travel, less than 10%. Travel would be domestic
